Regional Round Table Series: Celebrating Canada Then & Now
Your Gateway to Opportunities, with Global Vision
A start-up entrepreneur who plans to become the next Elon Musk, a young advocate committed to addressing global climate change, and an aspiring politician committed to their community and country - what do these individuals have in common? They all got their start at a Global Vision Regional Round Table!
The Regional Round Table Series provides young Canadians (aged 16-25) from 'Coast to Coast to Coast' with unique opportunities to gain the skills, knowledge and experience to excel in the global economy, while strengthening their attachment to Canada's rich national heritage. Our Round Tables help youth to explore future careers in all fields. Global Vision alumni can now be seen around the world, working as entrepreneurs, journalists, doctors, engineers, teachers, trade commissioners, civil society leaders and more, all attesting that Global Vision helped them get the experience that mattered!
Through activities like the interactive 5 Step Game Changer leadership development workshop, Canadian Heritage Personal Branding Exercise and collaborative sessions with business, government, and community leaders, delegates further their leadership and entrepreneurial skills and enhance their leadership capacities within and beyond their own communities. Delegates are given the opportunity to tackle local and regional challenges, working with stakeholders to propose innovative solutions.
Graduates of the Regional Round Table series can continue to build on their experience through other Global Vision programs such as Junior Team Canada International Trade and Development Missions to countries such as China, Peru and others central to the global economy. Round Table Graduates are also eligible to attend the National Youth Ambassador Caucus or Mission to the North.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I apply?
If you are a young, motivated youth leader who is eager to learn and create change in your community, you are the kind of the delegate that we are looking for. Seeing that the Round Tables are likely your first introduction to the Global Vision programs, there is no formal application process to attend. As you progress to other related programs, such as the National Youth Ambassador Caucus and Junior Team Canada International Trade and Development Missions, the process will become more competitive.
How old do you have to be to attend?
Youth aged 16 to 25 generally get the most out of the program. However, as talent has no age, we’ve been known to make exceptions for individuals who fall both below or above this general threshold.
How much does it cost to attend?
Registration for local delegates is $80.00 (including meals and registration fees), and registration for out-of-town delegates is $250.00 (including transportation to and from the conference, accommodations, meals and registration fees).
I'm coming from out of town. Do I need to find and pay for my own accommodations and travel?
Global Vision will coordinate transportation and accommodations for out-of-town delegates.
I want to attend Regional Round Table that is not in my region.
