Regional Round Table Series: Celebrating Canada Then & Now
Your Gateway to Opportunities with Global Vision
A start-up entrepreneur who dreams of being the next Elon Musk. A young advocate committed to addressing global climate change. An aspiring politician committed to their community and country. What do these individuals have in common? They all got their start at a Global Vision Regional Round Table!
The Regional Round Tables provide young Canadians (aged 16-25) from Coast to Coast to Coast with unique opportunities to gain the skills, knowledge and experience to excel in the global economy while increasing their knowledge of and attachment to Canada's rich national heritage. Our Round Tables help youth to identify with future careers in every field. Graduates of Global Vision can now be seen around the world working as entrepreneurs, journalists, doctors, engineers, teachers, trade commissioners, civil society leaders and more, who all attest that Global Vision helped them get the experience that mattered!
Through activities like the interactive 5 Step Game Changer leadership development workshop, Canadian Heritage Personal Branding Exercise and collaborative sessions with leaders from business, government, and community, delegates further their leadership and entrepreneurial skills and enhance their capacity to be leaders within their own communities. Delegates then tackle local and regional challenges, working with stakeholders to propose innovative solutions.
Graduates of the Regional Round Table series can continue to build on their experience through other Global Vision programs such as Junior Team Canada trade and development missions to China, Peru and many other locations central to the global economy. Global Vision Roundtable Graduates are also eligible to attend the National Youth Ambassador Caucus or Mission to the North.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I apply?
If you are a young, motivated youth leader in your community who is ready to learn, then you fit the type of person we are looking for. As the Round Tables are your first introduction to the Global Vision and Parks Canada Youth Ambassador programs, there is no formal application process to attend. As you progress to other related programs such as the National Youth Ambassador Caucus, Junior Team Canada trade/development mission and Parks Canada Youth Ambassador position, the process will become more competitive.
How old do you have to be to attend?
Youth aged 16-25 generally get the most out of the program, however as talent doesn’t have an age, we’ve been known to make exceptions for younger and older participants.
How much does it cost to attend?
Registration for local delegates is $80.00 (includes meals & registration fees). Out of town delegate registrations are $250.00 (includes transportation to and from the conference, accommodations, meals & registration fees).
I'm coming from out of town. Do I need to find and pay for my own accommodations and travel?
Global Vision will coordinate transportation and accommodations for out of town delegates.
