Global Vision is looking for 100 of Canada’s top youth leaders to join the first-ever Junior Team Canada Digital Citizenship Summit to be held September 11th-14th, 2019 in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

The Junior Team Canada Digital Citizenship Summit will bring together Canada’s brightest minds for a four-day program designed to strengthen Canadian democracy in the digital age and empower youth ambassadors to leverage tech to lead on issues of global importance.

During the Summit you will meet tech experts, politicians and leaders from business and civil society. You’ll also develop a national network of peers and grow your own leadership skills through dynamic activities and challenges.

The Summit will be delivered with speakers, workshops and breakout sessions addressing community leadership, democratizing tech, global cyber threats, and collaboration.

The Summit takes place September 11th-14th in beautiful Fredericton, the provincial capital of New Brunswick, and one of Canada’s fastest-growing tech cities that is leading the charge in cybersecurity and startup companies.

Explore the sights and local attractions of the city through the infamous JTC Amazing Race program. Learn by day and then take in the world-renowned Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival in Fredericton’s historic downtown.

The Summit will be your opportunity to learn how new technology, social media, and disinformation campaigns are threatening democracies around the world while working in teams to develop impactful, community-based solution plans that address major challenges in advance of Canada’s national election this October.
