Global Vision is a national not-for-profit, registered charitable organization founded in 1991 by Terrence Clifford, C.M. We engage enterprising young Canadians through education and hands-on experiences to develop as leaders that can and do make a difference in their communities, to Canada and the world.

Terrence Clifford C.M.
Founder & President
Terry was an educator and school principal by career. He was educated at the Universities of Guelph, Toronto and Cornell. Throughout more than 25 years in education, Mr. Clifford taught at the elementary, secondary and university levels. He innovated several programs, authored a mathematics text series and has accepted provincial awards for outstanding leadership as a teacher and principal.
Mr. Clifford served nearly 10 years as a Member of Parliament. He represented the Ontario riding of London-Middlesex where he was first elected in 1984 and again in 1988. He served and chaired Caucus and Standing Committees focusing on energy, the environment, employment, free trade, transport, and European Parliamentary relations. Mr. Clifford was recognized for his success in forging powerful cross partnerships and his global initiatives in science, technology, business and education. He did not campaign for a third term in the House of Commons, leaving federal politics in 1993.
While a M.P., he founded Global Vision in 1991. The national charitable organization has served over 30 000 youth as they develop their leadership and entrepreneurial skills through the organization's various programs. Global Vision has supported the work of 5 Prime Ministers and represented Canada on trade & development Missions and geopolitical & economic Summits in over 30 countries on 6 continents. In 2004 the Governor General inducted Terry as a Member of the Order of Canada, recognizing his efforts with Global Vision.
Amy began her career as a Political Attaché for the Secretary of State of Canada and Minister for Multiculturalism and Citizenship. She graduated from the University of Guelph with an Honours Bachelors in Political Science.
Amy now works as the Director of Global Vision, managing the organization and coordinating domestic and international programs. She has led several Junior Team Canada Missions to Africa, the Americas, Asia and Europe.
Driven with her own keen desire to make a difference in developing countries, Amy has used the Junior Team Canada model to establish global youth training programs in several several countries including China, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico and the Philippines.
Before joining Global Vision, Adam worked as the lead Recruitment & Admissions Officer in Atlantic Canada for Bishop's University. He graduated from Bishop's in 2013 with a Bachelors in Politics and Economics. While at school, he was heavily involved as a volunteer in Orientation Week, clubs, and student government, serving as President in his final year. Adam is a firm believer in “learning by doing” and hopes to help other youth leaders gain meaningful experiences through Global Vision’s programs.
Adam is a veteran of the Junior Team Canada program, having represented his country on three trade & development Missions: to Peru in 2008, China & Malaysia in 2010, and China in 2014. He has also served as a delegate for Canada's 2010 G8 & G20 Summits, and as a team leader for JTC's delegation to APEC 2014 in Beijing. Now working as a Project Coordinator, he helps to organize domestic and international programs.
Adam is a firm believer in “learning by doing” and hopes to help other youth leaders gain meaningful experiences through Global Vision’s programs.
