I am a proud francophone from Alberta currently living in Québec City where I will be completing my International tourism studies this year. My love for tourism and travel comes directly from visiting our great country from coast to coast to coast. My name is Julia and I am a 19-year-old international student from Berlin, Germany. Spending a year in Gatineau as an au pair is a great cultural experience for me. I recently completed my International Baccalaureate program in the health sciences profile at Champlain College, and I will attend MEI Academy in the upcoming year. Within this program, I will travel abroad in several countries in Asia and Europe where I’ll be learning the economic, historical and cultural background of the countries visited. I would like to pursue an education in actuarial sciences, economics and finances.
Outside the academic environment, I’m involved within my community. I cofounded a non-profit organization, export•support, and participate in various sports events. I’m also a soccer referee in Centre-du-Québec.
I will be taking part in my second trade mission to China with Global Vision. I’m looking forward to represent Canada and my region abroad and continue the work accomplished for my local partners.
Scott is currently studying Management specializing in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Dalhousie University. Scott works for the Norman Newman Centre for Entrepreneurship at Dalhousie where he manages a project focused on empowering retiring military personell to start their own businesses.
