Junior Team Canada Returns from APEC in Peru
Junior Team Canada has experienced a whirlwind week at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in Lima, Peru. The team witnessed the signing of the Canada-Colombia Free Trade Agreement, attended a reception at the Canadian embassy in Lima and met with the government leaders of Colombia, Australia and the Philippines.

The 23 member Team represented the businesses and organizations from every region of Canada. They met with Peru business, government leaders and were briefed by Canadian Embassy Trade and Development officers. The main purpose of their work was to meet and live in the rural and aboriginal communities in the regions of Peru.
