Global Vision Riding Ambassador (GVRA)

Global Vision Riding Association

What

The Global Vision Riding Ambassador program will champion the enterprising spirit of young Canadians to engage fellow youth to mobilize participation in the governing of Canada.  This program provides Canada’s youth the opportunity to lead, mobilize, and engage other youth economically, locally, and politically.  Each riding in Canada will have an enterprising youth volunteer who takes the role as a Global Vision Riding Ambassador. These Ambassadors network with local business, youth and government officials to be the connector which will link and support these three partners. The Riding Ambassador’s main goals of this program are the following. Firstly, the program aims to increase the voting numbers of youth in the Canadian 2015 general election. The ambassadors will gather the views of youth on issues that impact them and deliver their voice to those in positions of leadership in Canada. The second goal of this program is to promote the culture and industry of the riding. Ambassadors will help coordinate with elected officials to showcase their specific riding, region, province and Canada as a whole. They will mentor and connect local youth to business in the areas of science, technology, engineering & math as well as others.
