Frequently Asked Questions
How old do you have to be to attend?
Youth aged 15-25 generally get the most out of the program, however as talent doesn’t have an age, we’ve been known to make exceptions for younger and older participants.
I didn't attend a Round Table... Can I still apply?
Yes! We encourage all applicants to attend a Round Table first as they are the best way to prepare your application and for the Caucus itself, however they are not a requirement for eligibility.
Do I have to be a Canadian citizen to be eligible?
No! Canada is a nation of immigrants and the NYAC delegation is made to reflect our country's diversity. As long as you are citizen in your community with a passion for Canada you are eligible for NYAC.
